An Extraordinary Achievement from PT. MSP

On October 24, 2022 PT. MSP received Integrated Management System certification that are consists of the following:

– ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System with registration number: ID086-QC

– ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System with registration number: ID086-EC

– ISO 45001:2018 Safety Management System with registration number: ID086-SC

from TQCSI Indonesia.

TQCSI (Total Quality Certification Services International) is the largest certification body accredited by JAS-ANZ (Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand), ANAB (ANSI National Accreditation Board) and IAF (the International Accreditation Forum).

Scope of certification for PT. Mitra Stania Prima covers tin mines and smelters as stated in these three certificates: The registration covers the mining and smelting of tin.

The original certificate has been submitted to the Board of Directors of PT. MSP on October 27, 2022 at the office of PT. MSP at the Sahid Sudirman Center Building, Jakarta.

ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard for Quality Management System certification, ISO 14001:2015 is an international standard for Environmental Management System certification, and ISO 45001:2018 is an international standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management System certification (K3).

This ISO 9001:2015 certification is an improvement from ISO 9001:2015 that PT Mitra Stania Prima previously received in 2020 for the scope of Tin smelting process, now the scope of this certification is expanded to cover both tin mining and smelting while the ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications are environmental management system and OHS management system certifications received by PT. MSP for the first time and also includes tin mining and smelting.

Currently PT. MSP is also on the process of obtaining the Minerba Mining Safety Management System (SMKP Minerba) certification issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

Previously, on October 27, 2021, PT. MSP has also received ISO/IEC 17045:2017 certification as well as Accreditation as a Testing Laboratory and Calibration Laboratory for tin sand (tin ore) and tin metal (impurity levels) from KAN (Komite Akreditasi Nasional) with accreditation number LP-1542-IDN.
